Volume Licensing for FileMaker
November 14, 2011 – Effective March 31, 2012; For those of you on a volume license, your maintenance agreement includes all updates and upgrades during the year. If you fail to renew the maintenance agreement next year, you’ll need to ‘upgrade’ which will no longer include a ‘maintenance agreement’ to get all updates and upgrades. There will be an extra charge to get back on the maintenance after upgrading. If FileMaker is your mission critical software, make sure your maintenance fees are included in the budget! It will cost you less in the long run.
FileMaker Version 9 Users
November 14, 2011 – Here’s something to consider for year end purchasing for those of you still using FileMaker version 9. This version will reach it’s ‘end of life’ in 2012 and will no longer be supported. This means you will not be able to upgrade for 1/2 price, but will pay full price for new versions, and there will no longer be technical support or replacement media as well.
